![]() Only two days left for my fund raiser for the victims of Hurricane Sandy. I would love to do it longer and if people were actually buying the book so I could give all my royalty to this cause I would. But it seems like the fund raiser is at a standstill. Just in case you don’t know I am selling my book called A Struggle of the Heart, which is an e-book, and the $2, I make from this book is going to help people. http://www.amazon.com/A-Struggle-Heart-ebook/dp/B0067T6O30/ref=sr_1_1s=digitaltext&ie=UTF8&qid=1354114475&sr=1-1&keywords=a+struggle+of+the+heart This is the link to the book. You have to have a kindle to read this book, and if you don’t have one you can get one free from Amazon. http://www.amazon.com/gp/feature.htmlie=UTF8&docId=1000426311&tag=googhydr-20&hvadid=7893047648&ref=pd_sl_3ies3d4yuc_b This is the link for free kindle for your computer. I thought how exciting it would be to raise a good amount of money for these people from an unknown author. So far I have only sold 26 books in the month of November. You may be wondering if I am honest about this, or maybe I will keep some of it for myself. When this Hurricane happened, I wanted to go help, but I am so far away. It reminds me of the time I wanted to help with the OKC bombing but was rejected because I didn’t have any medical back ground. So I brainstormed as to how I can raise money to help. Please help me with this endeavor. Maybe you can share this with your friends. It could make a big difference in the lives of some people and you will also have a good book to read. Thank you and Merry Christmas Marie Fostino

![]() Hello Everybody. Hope you all had a great Thanksgiving weekend. I had to work the day before and the day after, but my husband sure did a great job cooking. Actually he is a wonderful cook so any excuse to let him cook I will take. Lol This is the last week of my fundraiser. I know a lot of you probably have already given somewhere else. And money is short with the Holidays around the corner. I want to thank you all for helping me with this fund raiser. I will put a copy of the cashier’s check on here for all to see. I have sold 26 books and it seems no one else is buying them now. So I will wait till the end of the month, and double what I brought in so they can have a decent check. MERRY CHRISTMAS AND HAPPY NEW YEAR. ![]() As you know I am giving away anything I make off this book for the month of November to try and help some way. I am not selling very many so I will match the money so they will have a decent check. Good Morning American is having a coat drive for these people so here is the link. Let’s help anyway we can. http://www.examiner.com/article/gma-focuses-2012-coat-drive-on-hurricane-sandy ![]() As of 11/17/2012 - 24 books have been bought - THANK YOU A terrible thing happened October 29 as Hurricane Sandy hit the shore of Atlantic City, New Jersey and New York. So many articles have been written to keep us informed as to what is going on New Jersey and New York City with so much rain, wind, and snow leaving tree limbs and electrical lines down. It has been reported that nearly 60,000 people have lost power and it has been said that it can be ten more days before all the electricity will be back on. There are many wonderful organizations trying to help these people. There are many places that take donations to help these people. Also there is the Red Cross. http://www.nj.com/mercer/index.ssf/2012/11/hurricane_sandy_donation_drop.html?fb_action_ids=4418726560640&fb_action_types=og.likes&fb_ref=s%3DshowShareBarUI%3Ap%3Dfacebook-like&fb_source=aggregation&fb_aggregation_id=288381481237582 My heart hurts for these people. This hits home for me when I was living in Norman Oklahoma when the bombing happened. I still remember it like it was yesterday. I was working in the beauty shop at that time, felt a small shake to our building before seeing on the TV what happened. I called the rest of my customers to quit for the day and drove to the site to see if I could help. Even though I was hurt because they wouldn’t let me help people, I did help clean some of the bombing sight, one of the hardest jobs I have ever had. I know we are all trying to help in our own ways. We are a wonderful nation as we pull together. Let’s keep these people in prayer. Let’s help out any way we can whether it is giving money or helping people or cleaning the site. I am running a fund raiser by giving all the money I make from one of my books to help. This is the way I am trying to help. It doesn’t matter how you help, but to know that you are doing the best you can. My prayers are with all these people who are hurting and the people who are trying to do the clean-up. Thank You for all you do. All my proceeds of my book called A Struggle of the Heart will be going to help these people. If you feel like buying one you will get a good book to read and your money will be going to help. Thank You! ![]() There is so much destruction going on up North. I wish I could be there to help but I can’t. I feel hopeless like I did the day of the OKC bombing when they would not let me help. So I decided to try and do something about it. I can use your help with my idea of a fund raiser. I am selling this book with all the money, (except Amazon’s of course) to go and help these people. Some are without electricity, homes, some warm clothing on their back. Please help me with this idea and make it a reality.
